Got the 7.5 inch decal installed. Looks much better. Fits damn near perfect. I updated the original post too.

 

I think my OCD is kicking in, is the decal a bit crooked? Or am i just loosing my mind?

 

Yeah it's a bit off but that's how they advertise it. I'm a huge Star Wars nerd so I should know this but I don't know if that's the way it is in the movie. If you search for t-shirts and other merchandise, it crooked sometimes and straight others. Here's the logo from their site:

what is the size you used so i use it as reference? 7.5 X?

 

It's a 7x5 decal. You put 7 in the width box and it automatically shows 5 tall because of the dimensions of the oval. I don't think you can enter 1/2 inch increments. When you order it, put in the comments that you want it to be 7.5 to cover a Tacoma emblem. They should know what you're talking about at that point. I think several people from here have ordered from them.

Also still zero issues with the sensor and after several trips through the car wash, the emblem still looks brand new. I'm very happy with it.

 

I figured its going to be hard to match the grille color so just going to tint mine. Thanks for the dimensions tho might change my mind the the future

The picture doesn't do it justice. In person, the grey is damn close to an exact match for the grill but I wasn't just trying to get rid of the chrome. I don't like the Toyota logo. Good luck.

 

So you're blocking the sensor inside the badge?

 

Yep. Zero issues. I use the cruise ever day to and from work. No errors on the dash either.
