Which finish did you use for the decal? They have a few different options I see.... Thanks!

I went with the Matte Finish per Jacy's recommendation. I also went with the Wrap Vinyl which is supposed to last at least 7 years and not fade. My truck sits at work in the Arizona sun all day so I made sure to ask which was best. I also wanted a quality vinyl that wouldn't get torn off through the car wash. So far so good. They are really great about answering any questions quickly and designing what you want.

Just tried the tinting technique with the taillight wrap and it was a fail. Too many bubbles! Maybe precut pieces woupd be perfect but who may have those?

You mention it fits near dam perfect so a 7 3/4 would be the perfect fit?

Don't think so. If it gets any bigger, you will have to tuck the edges in all the way around. That might not be a bad thing but the logo will probably cut off slightly on the top and bottom. I think that will make it look shitty. When you increase the width, the overall dimensions increase including the length. The way it is now, you don't see any space between the decal and edge like you do on the 7" one.

Bro how the heck did you get this decal on with no bubbles or wrinkles. I ordered some but was unsuccessful. Yours looks immaculate!

I fucked up the first one. Lucky they sent two. I used warm soapy water and went really slow. When I finally had it centered, I used a credit card pushing from the middle out until all the bubbles were gone. Took a good 45 minutes. Pretty amazing for me because I have zero patience. Then I parked in direct sunlight for a couple hours to make sure it was 100% dry. I've thought about looking into that clear ceramic coating to see if they could cover it to protect it better because it already has a small scuff to the outer coating. Still love the way it looks and haven't seen an after market grill with the sensor that I like better.

Fastdecals website is something else. I found an ask a question box and shot over my idea. I asked him to make a 2020 grille emblem cover.

But I asked to make it color match grey and they sent back this 52907549-CD8E-4C04-BDCE-1A81004DDA93.jpg I’m pretty stoked. Gets here later this week.

Damn that looks great. Perfect colors for a black truck. Size is perfect too. Did you get the glossy finish or did you put a coating on it? I went matt. Yours looks more glossy and I like that better.
