I support your having fun, but buddy’s corolla from post 10 could have done that too.

I was in Cabo this past weekend during Hurricane/Tropical Storm Norma- I should have taken a few more photos than I did, but :notsure:

Stayed a night at the northern end of Los Cabos at La Marina on Thursday night before heading to Cabo Surf for the remainder of the storm.

At the marina, the locals were frantically pulling every boat out of the water they could. There were several work horse truck and trailers doing laps for the 30 hours or so I was there (never did figure out where they unloaded the boats). Not the least of which were a handful of 1st and 3rd Tacoma's. The 1st gens were way more modest, while the 3rd gens were notable more built. Neither had a problem pulling way more boat out of the water than reasonable. The trailers they were using were garbage- flat tires, broken axles, broken hitches. It was chaos. After an hour or so, we could tell by the sound the exhaust which truck was headed back to the ramp. They were having all kinds of issues with the storm surge pushing the trailers off the ramp (even within the protected break water), but the drivers were still heckling each other about not being able to back up a trailer, etc.. Entertaining for me, probably not for people who's lively hoods were on the line.

The 1st gens for sure showed up and proved their worth. Several F-150s and Rangers made pretty weak cases for themselves.

I like to think of it as a highway rated Hunting/Farm ATV.
