    You appear to be correct. I also have the older HS 3-leaf AAL and I had to grind off the rivet that held the factory clamp in place.

    And at least one of those guys was smart enough to dump his property in NH 3-4 years ago. :boink:

    For more reasons than salt, but that's a story for a different day.

    So yea. I get it. And I still say you need to get ahead of the problem. A 5yo Tacoma with that much rust on the leaf springs does not bode well for the frame life.
