That is crazy! I like to climb. I am the leader for our FD Rope Rescue Team. I like to be tied off at all times though. Forget that free climbing!

 

Yes I would do this for 120K a year. I hate my current job, I wonder if they could use parachutes. Imagine if you fell that's a long drop and a lot of time to think your gonna die as soon as you touch ground.

I was ok with it still he stood on the top and looked down. Those guys must be in really good shape to do that everyday. your arms and legs must be shot by the top. Getting down must be worse, especially where they transition to the outside.

 

Thats a new level of nuts... My asshole puckered just watching that!

There alot of easier ways for THIS guy to make 120K.

I can be honest with myself on this...

NO FREAKING WAY I could do this. It would take a 7 figure salary for me to do this...I'm still not sure I could.

Jim Coleman, Chairman of the National Association of Tower Erectors viewed the video this morning on YouTube and was troubled by the comments concerning free climbing. He was also concerned that it was entitled as a tutorial.

"I'm unaware of any guidance by OSHA that allows for free climbing as an acceptable method of accessing elevated work," Coleman said.

 

Hell Yeah!!!

When I was younger - heck yeah!! Doing that everyday would keep you in shape (and you'd get used to it).

To start doing that now at my age.....I think my legs would give up.

 

DAMN!!!!!!!!! yeah. if that's all I had to do pshh where do I sign up?

 

Realistically I'd be good for the first hundred feet. After that I'd be worthless!
