I would go MB riding in Chino State park and the male tarantulas would be swarming looking for the females, hundreds all over the place, we called them speed bumps. :D

    Damn. That sucks.

I do not care for spiders (except strangely tarantulas don't bother me).

My own short story: a couple weeks ago my mom and I were driving around town in my Tacoma. It was dark and I felt something on my arm, put my arm up in the light of a streetlight and saw a spider in silhouette on my arm. I flipped out. Almost forgot to stop at a stop sign and was waving my arm around wildly, screaming like a little girl, "Spider!!! Get it off me!!!"

Managed to stop my truck partway across the intersection where I almost missed the stop sign, and luckily it was off my arm. But that was almost worse because then it was somewhere in my Tacoma and I couldn't see it and it was dark. Every time I felt anything on me for the next few minutes I jumped (and of course then I had the creepy crawlies so I was pretty sure I felt a small army of spiders was walking on me). So I am not sure how I didn't get a reckless driving ticket.

When my mom got her laughter under control she told me to stop the truck and she drove. "Honestly, Beth. All this over a tiny spider."

I'm telling you though, it was ENORMOUS.

HA! I know exactly how you feel, spiders DO serve a useful purpose , but will not tolerate them too close to me or on me , then its a death sentence for them...:D

That's pretty much how I feel about them: if they are out in nature where they belong and therefore aren't in my space I leave them alone. If they are on me or in my truck or house, I kill them.

Hey, did you see the premier for Mockingbird Lane last Friday?

How'd you like the scene when Lily appeared?

I'm thinking, "Ooh... nice... gonna see some boobie-side? Oh cool... Chris is gonna freak"
