To each their own, don’t really care what others do but I also don’t get it either. Raptors don’t have the lights to look cool, they have them for legality reasons. The midsize truck owners installing them really just makes no sense to me. They aren’t driving raptors and certainly aren’t driving anything that needs clearance lights for being too wide. Oh well. I also think the pro grille is ugly so I don’t get why people do that either but everyone has their own opinion. Some people just want to make changes for the sake of making changes anyways. To each their own.

Just added raptor lights for approx $15 and don’t care what you think at all

    4EA7A84C-85E6-4AA1-9555-C73A1D7F10C7.jpg

Most people suck at driving. Had people try to pull out in front instead of waiting 2 seconds. Someone put a paper bag over their head and merge multiple lanes not at speed risking collision
Been rear ended multiple times with brake lights on.

the more visible the truck is the better.

I know what the truck is and what it’s not. It’s not a raptor or TRX. I’ve spent time driving both. Those trucks are also too wide to fit on a trail and therefore enjoy the fun of the trail or view that it gets to.

currently deciding on how to do lights under the tailgate. Options are TRX lamp bar ($45) or 3 Oznium LEDs.

So far for the fronts I crimped their wiring together and put one connector that taps into the parking lights.
If one fails later on I can always re wire them to individual 3/4 connectors to allow for replacing one at a time. But theoretically a low draw LED should last a long time

this grill comes with 4 but it’s $170+ instead of doing it yourself for cheaper, and looks kind of weird

I have raptor lights, and I use them mainly for safety concerns. I have them set to only turn on with my low beams. Some of the craziest drivers I have encountered are at night, and making my truck more visible hopefully means I will meet them less.

Let's divert this quaint little conversation to something that's actually important....while keeping it light related.

Knuckle dragging mouth breathers who drive on the street with ditch lights and/or light bars turned on. I'd like to bend them in half and make them chew their own balls off.

What I don't understand is why anyone cares a flying fig what someone else does with their truck. I don't and won't have Raptor lights but if someone likes it, fine by me.

Interesting that a few OEMs have copied the Raptor Light trend
    Ram TRX
    Nissan Titan XD
Toyta TRD Pro Tundra & Sequioa

I wonder if the 4th gen TRD Pro Tacoma will be next.

Meh, I don't care about raptor lights.

HOWEVER...if you have a RTT I'm gonna run you off the road. Why? Because when I do it will be the only time in your truck's life it ever leaves the pavement. YA LOSER!

If you spend 5 minutes on this site, you will see plenty of examples of things that look silly on a Tacoma, but not my truck, not my concern.

Well this thread went more bro-down than usual.

And f you don't like that come to my neighborhood where I'll no-scope snipe you from 500 yards. It's been a whole week since I singlehandedly took on a biker gang, relieved them of their whips, chains, clubs, and broken bottles, and sent them walking. Yeah I said walking. I told them that they could have their bikes back when they apologize like big boys. Anyways as I said, it's been a week, so I need my next practice session. Feel free to stop on by to voice your opinion so I can squash your head and serve you a glass of your own wrong juice for breakfast.

I don't have an RTT. However, my rig has never been off road. Where on the "loser spectrum" do I fall?

And wait.....before you answer. Full disclosure: It's a PreRunner.

    This should be good.

No RTT? You're not even qualified to evaluated for an IEP, let alone being placed on the spectrum.
