sounds like you have a problem with the taco. Maybe you should trade it in on this thing, and let us know how it is.

I'll list out why that is gay as hell.
    1. It's a ford
    2. It's a ranger
    3. It looks like a ford fusion with a bed
    4. There is nothing orginal about that P.O.S. at all

You are on Tacoma World saying a Ranger is better than a Tacoma.. Do you expect anyone to actually agree with you? Toyotas last forever, that is why there are so many toyotas out there from the 90's or even earlier. How often do you see fords or chevys from the 90's? Oh that's right you don't.

haha i just think its funny that people are on a tacoma enthusiast website, and they just say " this pos will own the tacoma!!!"

I mean everyone is entitled to there opinion, but its one thing to like this ford, and another to bash the tacoma when your on a tacoma site.

Not where I live... So I can only speak for Birmingham. But I only see old Toyotas and nissans around here. My dad has a 73 celica, a toyota pickup from the 80s with over 200,000 miles on it and still running good, he also has an 03 taco running great, and an 06 tundra, and I've got my awesome new taco. So naturally I'm a little partial towards toyotas haha.

Lol I worked at a Volkswagen dealership for Tue last ten years and they are the biggest fucking turns ever! Toyota trucks equal resale value and over all mechanical bulletproofness. I had a Ford ranger it was not bad but my taco is a real off road truck. It drives like a truck and it sounds like a truck. I have been in the automotive business for years and the Toyota dealership I used to worked at the service dept was dead. While the Ford and Chevy side was always busy doing major jobs.

My old bronco was very very loud lol. It always sounded like when my friends taco pump completely died. It did work really well though, I could turn it with one finger at a stop very easily.

edit: that turd in the first post is absolutely hideous, ford's in general are good though.

I'll say it: the VW truck on the 3rd page isn't all that bad to look at, but I think it would quickly be the choice for yuppies who want to get stuck offroad.

I'm still interested in the Mahindras. They aren't much to look at (at least it looks like a truck), but 30mpg with more payload than my truck? :drevil: latest news is they release in december

In no way does that beat the Tacoma in the looks department. It's like a Taurus had sex with a Honda Ridgeline.

well gee imagine that concept. thats like everyone walking into your house and making fun of your family. come on dude.

and i gotta agree on that V-Dub. it's a ton better looking than that faggy ford, but vw needs to stick to what they know.

Wouldn't it be more like walking into your house and saying something nice about somebody else? Of course, I'm talking my post....not the original poster...in which case, you're spot on.

But what does VW know that they should stick to? Efficiency and innovative, award winning design? The Touareg is doing pretty well and no one can even pronounce it.

Bottom line and a fitting end to this lame thread: That Ford might be nice, the Tacoma definitely is and one place it won't be getting pwned anytime soon is in the sales figures.

Now, I'm going to unsubscribe from this post and go install my JVC double-din. I said I wasn't going to customize this thing but 3 months of ownership and the genetics are starting to take over. Peace.
