    good on ya Ben. its sad they had to put the hawk down.....but maybe save a few more since the trapper is being charged.

    What I meant was you can't run dogs on anything in PA but rabbits, grouse (partridge) and pheasants. You can use them to retrieve ducks too. You can trap coyotes and bobcats however. The trap would have been legal had it not been next to the deer hide.

    The trapper said he placed it there because he saw cat tracks. I think he needs his eyes checked.
