Do you guard lawns? I'd like my lawn guarded but don't want to come across as unsavory to my neighbors.

I did the same, back then everything was "cool".

You got to love how the "adult" in the background is not interfering but just letting the event unfold.

    Good times.

Wow that happens when going fast, hitting a rock with the bucket down that won't move and a load behind you. I hope he had his seatbelt on! I snagged one with my bucket that did not move and bent my bucket and almost launched me over my hood!

All day everyday. My friends and I created a graveyard of bikes. I have a particularly good story if anyone wants to hear. :D

There was an old metal slicky slide laying on the ground at a park that was being constructed. We rolled a few tires under the end to jack up the end to about 4 ft. We then got a long run and were in the Evel Kinevel zone. We were marking the jumps in the dirt. Our safety equipment consisted of shorts and Chuck Taylors. No shirt. No helmet.
We were out to around 40 ft. I landed the record but got the death wobble right after I landed. I went over the bars. I walked home, bleeding and holding my arm. No shit, my dad looked at me and said... "We need to get you to the emergency room, but go ahead and take the licks now. Bend over."
Had a broke arm. Lots of little gravels dug out of my leg and shoulder. Head got seven stitches. Yet I got a spanking before going to the doc.
Gotta love the 1970's. You kinda had to be a badass to grow up then.
