To the op, If I were u, considering what u have said that u currently have 2.5 inches of rake stock and just want to level it out and still have a slight rake. I would get the ome 884's(2inches of lift) and the ome nitrochargers front and back. Leave the rear stock height. That'll give u a good riding rig and it'll still perform offroad!

Sorry for the delay. I have stock P265/70R16 on my truck (Nitto TG). I researched the Ready Lift and called the company. They guarantee a stock ride. I don't believe it compresses the springs because it mounts above them. You also can keep your stock shocks where other kits you have to buy new. My truck w/o the kit sat high in the front until I put the rear blocks on. Rear shocks are also stock size. Truck rides great. Once I upgrade the leafs for towing, I'll be set. I missed the TSB. Ready Lift told me Jeep puts these on new vehicles and warranties them from the factory/ dealer.

Thanks Black Taco. I can acquire some low cost spacers for the time being until I can scrounge up the $$$ for a full C/O set up. I was going to get the AAL for the rears, but decided to go with 1" steel spacers and air springs since I tow a lot. I have everything on-hand for on-board air system except for the springs themselves. I just have a hard dropping pulling the trigger on $280 air spings.

For TacoSupreem, nice Boston in your sig. I've got one just like him. Great dogs. He goes everywhere the Taco goes.

Im right with you. Ive been going throug and starting threads for weeks now. I am going to put on some 265/75/16s and wanted a slight lift just to make the truck look bigger, without killing the ride.

I was totally sold on 5100s and an AAL, but now I see the 09's are included on the rear TSB and Ive been reading about people not liking the 5100s ride. Im a 90% road driver with the rest of the time towing a 20ft boat and some light offroading (hoping to get into it more.)

Ive yet to clearly find-decide on a solution :(

i think it's ok for 5100s set at .85" or 1.75" from what i've read...it's when you go to the 2.5" setting that they get harsh...it's hard to know since i've never ridden in a truck that has them installed :/....but i think i'm gonna go with the 5100s set at 1.75" and give it a try...if no good i'll try the .85" setting and if that's too bad i'll go to the 0" setting...lol

yes i was planning on using the stock springs at the 1.75" setting on the 5100s but i've been talking to the toytec guy and he's telling me they have a 500lb OME lift spring that would be better suited since i have a reg cab...would give me from 1 1/2" to 2" of lift....i'm guessing this is at the 0" setting on the 5100....he says it's better to use a lift spring than to compress the stock springs so you will have a better ride with more flex

i think it's only needed if you lift your truck ...if you leave them at 0" i don't think you have to get an alignment

i would think any time you change the front suspension you SHOULD get an alignment

just because the 5100s are set at "0" doesnt mean they are the same height as the ones you just removed...your truck may have been aligned last on saggy shocks/coils...
