This has been an interesting thread. It's good to see others take note of a scam and help someone not get screwed by the fleas on FLEABAY!.

Tonto1, I hope you find the right Taco and stay away from the fleas. Buy local. Personally I pay the dealer mark up on used vehicles from a trusted dealer or even CarMax. I have gotten great used vehicles from both. My Taco came from Carmax not only was the price right the truck looked like it had never been used for more than commuting and had hauled nothing more than a mattress in the bed. Now it is being used as a truck Good luck and welcome to TW. Hope to see your new rig soon!

I'm really thankful that this truck was exposed. What really pisses me off is how a "Salvage" vehicle can be bought at a "Salvage Auction" and get resold after repair with a clean title. I can only imagine how many deals like this go down without being detected. Great job on the detective work guys!

Hopefully whoever bids on that poor tacoma does some research before giving those scumbags ANY money.

The sad thing is this kind of thing happens all over the country every day. And the assholes get away with it.

 

I flagged it for not disclosing used airbags. Hope no one gets screwed. They should just disclose the accident and sell it properly.
