    This^^

I'll also ask this: Would anyone wheel out into the back country the way lots of us do in a F150 or 1500 hell I'll even throw in Tundras? I look at those and think that they are way too big to go where I went while visiting the Alpine Loop last year. I saw a 1 or 2 full size trucks out there and thought they were crazy. Mostly because they were stock, not lifted, had minimal clearance and or approach angle AND street tires. This is why I think the comparing full size to mid size is generally flawed. I think is a "do you tow a lot or don't you" type of thing.

Also before anyone comments on me being a first gen owner posting in the 3rd gen forum, I'll say that I lurk here out of curiosity and excitement for the brand. Also I may end up getting my new 2016 in 2019. Or my new 2017 in 2020...you get the idea.

Nope, with lower fuel economy of course. However, Diesel might be more expensive in the future and it might not. There are a lot of factors going for and against the full sized over the Collie Diesel. I don't see it wiping out the full sized market like some Diesel fans do. It will simply compliment it in many ways.

I think the Diesel is going to hurt Toyota a little. The Tacomas are selling some at 38k for a TRD the Colorado z71 with Diesel will sell at or around same price so iv seen. But we will see

    I doubt that. A Colorado/canyon at TRD spec options (LT/SLT) is 40k

My price walking into a Toyota Dealer was less than employee price on a GM

I'm sure you can find one cheaper. Everything I am looking at is loaded in z71/all terrain/off road trim
