Anyone got any info or have installed the Thorley Headers on a 2010 DC? Curious as to how big of a job it is to install and did they get any gains out of them? I put a thorley header on my 2.7L Taco back in the day and I loved it. Curious if anyone else has had any experiences?

    Thanks
    Jeff

Man there are tons of people on here with the dtlt's! they are a bolt on application. i think they claim to give around 18hp and 25lbft of torque? it's worth the money but they sound too raspy for me.

I am running a set of DT's. If you run the stock y pipe, should sound nice with no rasp. Rasp is usually from running DT pipebomb with the headers. If you're running a flowmaster or magnaflow, that might help with the rasp. A lot of members tried different setups with some different results. It all comes down to what exhaust note you want to hear. Adding a resonator before the muffler helps alot too.:D

What was the install like? I was reading on their website that you have to cut and weld and stuff but then on summits website it says they are bolt in factory replacement, and yes I am looking at the same part number... any ideas on how much trouble to install. Im pretty savvy when it comes to turning wrenches but i don't have a welder at home so....

I think the shorty you have to cut out some cats and reweld. The longtubes eliminate the front cats and thus just bolt right up.
