The first thing I would do is replace the TRD grille with an sr grille.... And the. Use the TRD grille to grate cheese for a taco!

I agree with the chrome feelings. If you don't like chrome take a look at a ford or chevy. They have chrome galore.....

I kinda like chrome plated metal, but chrome plated plastic.......not so much

Leave it to Toyota to put the ugly looking grill on the more expensive models.

I disagree. I love chrome trim. I actually wish i could combine all the chrome bits from the different packages and have them installed in my Limited.

It looks so gaudy on the new taco. It would of made sense for the Limited to get the chrome and the offroad version to get the body color/black version. Someone messed up on the paperwork somewhere lol.

...Yeah....exactly my feelings as well.....chrome belongs on a street machine like the limited....but NOT on an off-road vehicle?!

....Finally figured out what it is about the 2016 grill as opposed to the 2015....the 2015 had pouty lips....and the 2016 grill looks like it was pumped full of collagen so it resembles Angele Jolie's lips!....:angrygirl::annoyed:o_O

They need to make a TRD Pro "style" grill available.

Dang good job... yes looks 100% better. What do you mean gunmetal grill? every TRD i see with that style has what's call "smoked" chrome but is nowhere near this dark. Are you just calling the color you photoshopped gunmetal color?

I only photoshopped the surround from chrome to black. I am not home so I can't post the original Toyota photo with the chrome surround.
