the TRD chrome grill would have suited the Limited better IMO

I'm sure with all the haters of the chrome rear bumpers on the base trd off road and the chrome grilles on all trd's, you shouldn't have any trouble trading straight up for both.

I'm sure once people actually have possession of their trucks there will be an official Chrome bumper/grille swap thread.

Does anyone know how many pieces the grille actually comes in? On TRD for example there is the smoked chrome center (1), chrome surround (2), and the body colored nose cap (3). Is that all one piece, or is the center (smoked chrome) piece come separate from the others?

Perhaps @Jeff Lange can help (again!) with a part number question.

Now that I have the TRD OR, I want to deal with all that chrome on the grill. The plain black SR grill looks best to me and would suit the black trim elsewhere on the TRD OR, but the SR does not come in Quicksand. So the questions are; (1) Is the black grill of the SR available separately from the entire grill assembly? and (2) can the black grill and black surround of the SR be swapped into the body colored quicksand bezel of the TRD?

The black surround is available separately (part number 52711-04010)

    SR grill assembly part numbers

    53100-04500-A0: White (040)
    53100-04500-B0: Silver (1D6)
    53100-04500-B1: Grey (1G3)
    53100-04500-C5: Black (202)
    53100-04500-D0: Red (3R3)

I think the SR grill has to be ordered with the entire grill assembly, bummer I know. I imagine the cost on this would be quite high. I'm thinking about getting a quote. Your second question, I would also like the answer to. Ive seen plenty of guys removing the grill with bezel for plasti dip, but I'm not sure if the bezel comes off easy.

Get a can of black Plasti dip and save your money for when after market grills start getting made.

Nice! Is that yours? What size tires did you put on your stock wheels?

No lift. Just tires on factory wheels with 1.25 inch spacers to pull the wheels out.
