A Baxter filter mod. I have not even done one oil change on this truck yet, but after seeing the filter design the baxter spin off filter mod was one of the first things I got, along with my Fumoto valve.

Have used it on wife's RAV4 for 4 years. Works great. Changed her car to a metal filter housing, changing mine to the metal one at 5K oil change, and will use the same tool.

I stick that plastic gizmo thing into a hollow metal tube I had laying around (tube is maybe 1inch in diameter and about a foot or so long). I then use the metal tube to jam the plastic thing into the drain hole on the oil filter housing and hold it there. The filter oil drains through the metal tube which is pointed into my drain bucket below. Works great and no mess.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
Well, between the Fumoto drain plug valve and the MotivX filter service kit, oil/filter changes are quite literally, spotless, quick, and stupid easy. No more splashing and dealing with the cleanup afterwards.

My local waste collection district does used motor oil/filter collection and provides us with a nice big flat collection tray bin and a heavy duty ziploc bag for multiple filters. 15-20 minutes of time and I'm in and out and done with all aspects of a change.
