Finally getting my truck lifted and the guys at the shop were last minute trying to talk me into getting Fox’s for the sake of the ride quality. I think they were just trying to upsell me tho. I went with 887s and 5100s in the front. They may have psyched me out a little bit. How’s the ride quality on road compared to stock?

Fine. I had no complaints, although, I do feel like they were stiffer initially and then better after a year or so. But that may have been due to temperature changes over the seasons.

I think they are stiffer than the stock offroad setup, but in a good way. Rides fine on the freeway, IMO. If they aren't preloading the coils, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

This ^ My last truck had them set on highest setting (dealer installed) and was not the most pleasant ride.

I can't tell you until the end of the week, but I am installing the same thing Thursday. 5100's and OME 887 + AAL in the rear. I went with this kit due to all the positive reviews on them. Most said they road slightly better than stock.

I don't think you'll hate it. Just be prepare for a slightly different ride regardless. There is always a little give when doing suspension work. I've always put coilovers and lowered my sports cars and sedans(S2000, 370Z, Civics, TSX). The ride was always a bit more firm, but the benefits of the looking better and feeling more planted always out-weighed the negative. I'm doing the install myself and can't wait.

5100's with OME 884's here. Never put the sway bar back on. Stiffer, that's for sure. Can feel a lot more of the little bumps and cracks in the asphalt, but I like it. Feels much more controlled even without the swaybar.

I found that the worst is going about 30-40 mph over rougher roads. Can be quite harsh. The stock setup may have been better in those conditions.

Ride is a little better with the sway bar off. Only issue was that the OME coils are like 80 or 90 lbs/in softer than stock. So it was a little too soft while doing sweeping turns, evasive maneuvers may be dangerous. This is on a 3rd gen though. 2nd gen stock coils werent as stiff.

I love them compared to stock. Over 20k miles on them and no regrets.
