    hi all,

I see a post about wheels or tires upgrade every day to replace your factory ones.
    I wish I could too.
I'm just curious how many of you still have your factory wheels and tires still in your garage, waiting for somebody to buy.
    I created a poll.

    Thanks!

I still have my OR rims after getting my SCS SR8's. Guy at discount tire offered me $125 for all 4, as he was installing the new rims. Couldn't let them go for that.

People wanted to lowball me for my TRD Sport wheels so I decided to just keep them and not deal with the hassle...

Still have my steelies in the shed, I have not even thought about selling them. If someone came along that wanted them I may sell them, I dunno. :notsure: They're not bothering me in the shed.

When I sold my car to buy my new Tacoma, I had removed my alloys and new tires, and it took me about 6+ months to sell them on CG.
When I see a post here folks buying new wheels tires, I can't help but think how? That's close to $1500 on top of a new truck.
I really had wished if I had the option to swap wheels and tires at the dealership when I bought my truck.
Anyways, I'm keeping mine until they wear off and then buy the nice wheels and tires I want.

ive been running stock for a while... but when i change out i might keep stock as a back up, or if i sell or trade the truck in the future i can put the stock back on and keep the aftermarket.. good aftermarket rims may hold value better at private sale ? ifeel like if you trade in a car or even private sale they not always gonna pay extra for your mods

I kept my old Sport rims so I have something to put back on the truck when it comes time to sell. Not selling my limited edition brushed copper Ray10s with the truck, no way.

I still have mine, but not in a hurry to sell. They are taking up space though. I also replaced the spare, so one steelie with 4 TRD OR alloys.

After 176 miles on the new 2017 Taco I replaced the factory installed Firestone Destination P245/75R16 109S M+S with Michelin P245/75R16 109S ORWL today. I've had two sets of these Michelins on my 2002 Taco. The last pair went 109,000 miles! So I'll put the Firestone factory tires on Craigs at half the price of new ones in hope of getting 'em out of my garage! Wish me luck! :fingerscrossed:
