I had a 2010 sport then the wife needed a bigger truck for the horses. Now that we are down to 1 horse and we have freinds that can transport in 2 years the tundra goes bye bye she gets the Corolla back that i currently drive and was debating between the sport or limited as a base but will definitely keep an eye out for a nightshade if they do one for 2021.
I know alot are not fans of atreet trucks but more offroad and thats perfectly fine.
I just dont go offroad and need something thats road worthy and that i can use on fire police calls and that i can make my own.

Thanks to everyone and sorry but lowering is not an option as i need to be able to go through deep snow on fire calls.

A ridgeline sounds perfect for this type of situation!

Sorry but I find the ridgeline hideous.
And way too low for the ground clearance im looking for.

not really, just a RSB and AT3 LT E tires. but i'm not at all a "street truck" with lowering and reducing OR capability. i toss my truck around like it's off road, it's how i drive it that sets it apart. all the setup modding for the street on mine is simply to isolate the suspension and clean up attachment point slop to help the chassis and suspension perform best. i do a lot of high speed bite your nails stuff, so i need clean & predictable and that's what the mods are for.

I could definitely use that as a baseline depending on what the 2021-2022 model yeara are going to look like.

A year ago the wife told me to trade her 2014 Rav4 in on a 4x4, but she didn't want another off-road type, like my 2004 Tacoma TRD OR, because they were too bouncy! :angrygirl:

So I started looking and found a 2016 Tacoma 4x4 Limited with less than 15,000 miles on it.

The end of this month marks my first year with it and I love it. She doesn't mind riding in it at all, and that means 700 mile road trips! :bananadance:

On these forums?? The typical poster on here is a mechanic with a garage full of tools, into off-roading, and drives a TRD Off-Road, 4x4, manual transmission, lifted/raised, bigger wheels/tires, etc. If anything, the mall-crawlers (which is what I would be) are in the minority.

And all these people sayin' lower it. LOL. That would ruin one of the big great benefits of spending the high $$$ dollar on a truck. The ground clearance! Most sedans suck cos they're built so low to the ground and you scrape the front-end when you pull in and out of places and I hate that.

Heck, even some pickups like Chevys and GMCs have these obnoxious front-ends that hang down real low and ruin the ground clearance. They're about as bad as sedans. You can tell just by looking at a Tacoma how much better it is. If anything, you remove the air dam and do even better.

Street vehicles are all about the body kit... I’ll just leave this here. You’re welcome...

Also, don’t forget your whistle exhaust.
