Bought my new 2015 Tacoma doublecab 4x4 sr5 last november. It currently has 17,900 miles. I replaced a 2006 Ford Ranger 4x4 with this truck. I love the engine in the Tacoma. It seems to have way more power than the Ranger. Love the color(silver) compared to black with the Ranger. However, I do not like the door seal noise that I get periodically. I have seen other posts about that problem and I cannot believe that they cannot fix it. I don't like the way the truck handles during high winds. Sometimes it is all I can do to hold it in my lane of traffic. The stock stereo pretty much blows as well. The Dunlop tires are lousy as well. I would like to get some better aggressive looking tires eventually. Had quite a few problems with the Entune linking up to my Galaxy 6 as well. Overall, I believe it is a very reliable truck, which is why I bought it.

I replaced a 99 ford ranger with my 2012 - same boat. Love the taco's power over my ranger. Same complaint with the doors - someone posted a sweet fix for the noise, but I can't find it again. I did lift mine 2" and replace the tires with 265/75/16 Nitto Terra grapplers, which I love - and doesn't seem to wander on the road as much. You'll notice a huge difference when you get rid of the stock Dunlops.

The dunlops should have been dropped by Toyota long ago. They only thing they do well is hold air

I think the lane wandering might be from the sloppy steering rack bushings. Mine has 154k so they're probably even looser, but my last Tacoma was the same even at 27k when I bought it. No wind it's straight as an arrow, but a 10mph crosswind and I fear I may get pulled over for a breathalyzer test. I'm going to put in the poly bushings from Wheeler's offroad when I feel brave enough to wrench for a day. Hopefully it'll tighten things up.

replacing my Dunlops at 22k with new LTX MS2's. No handling probs here although I have the Sport TRD model. My 07 had the bridgestones duellers which only lasted 32k before I put the Michelin's on.

    All the time!!!
Got my new 2015 Tacoma SR5 4x4 access cab in July its got 10,000 miles on it now, swapped in my 2005 v6 Ford Ranger and its like going from a mini bike, to a Harley. Replaced my Dunlops at 8000 miles with Cooper Discoverer 265/75/16 A/T3's, there just as quite as the Dunlops were, lost very little on mpg's, yeah the cross wind with a 3" lift can be felt, but is no worse than the Ranger was. No wind noise, unless there is like a 40+ mph cross wind and only heard it twice, and the wind blows here a lot. No problems with my radio, fact is I love it. And my steering is great, you must have a problem, mine is a lot better than my Ranger was, and better mpg's too.

We got our 2015 DCLB TRD Sport in April to replace our 1996 V6 4x4 Ford Ranger and we love it. It rides so much better than the Ranger, it is like night and day. Mine has the Bridgestones on it, they are OK but I am saving for new tires. The Entune, non-JBL, sound system is fancier than any thing we have had before with no problem linking my Galaxy S6. The only problem I have had with the sound if that occasionally the steering wheel controls don't work when I first start out. It fixes it self after a minute or 2 so not too big a deal. One thing I wish was different is where the 12 volt sockets are located. I can use the right hand one and my wife can put her drink in the cup holder but the left hand socket is a different story for the most part. And none in the back for the kid to use!
