I recently installed my lift consisting of 5100 F&R, OME 885s, HS 1/4" spacer for Taco Lean, Icon Tubular UCAs, and HS 3-leaf progressive AALs. I measured lift before and got 3 1/2" in the front and 2" in the rear.

The truck drove good but visually I can see the top of the tire leaning out (positive camber). I got my alignment done this morning. The positive camber is less noticeable visually and it appears to drive almost the same. I noticed on the drive home that the steering wheel was clocked off-center to the 1-o'clock position. I called them and they told me to bring it back. I brought it back and they corrected it. I brought up the fact that I wanted more caster but was given the excuse that they can only align to factory specs. When I first brought it in I mentioned that the UCAs were engineered with more caster and I wanted it closer to 3 degrees. I thought they could've kept the original caster while getting the camber and toe close to 0.

I'll post the specs sheet and want to hear some experienced opinions and suggestions. IMO I think the caster numbers could be better but I'll be getting my new wheel/tire setup soon and will get it re-aligned. Will I go back to them? It's debatable since they only charged $42. I guess you get a basic alignment "within factory specs" for a price like that.

Too much camber for sure. I'd avoid that shop. They're only capable of doing what the computer tells them to do.

What I don't get is even at the "before" caster it was still in the green so they shouldn't have had to lower it.

EDIT: Also, when guys on here say their alignment was "perfect" and "within spec" on their stock UCA's this is the kind of shit alignment they're talking about. Yeah, it's in the green so I guess that's "great".

Your tech sucks. Caster numbers were better before the alignment and that camber can be closer to zero especially since you have icon UCA's. Also 885's should be 3" for a pre-runner. Not sure why you're getting 3.5".

My thoughts exactly on the caster "before" numbers!

3.5" lift in front??? Too much lift.

The tech lowered camber, in doing so sacriced caster. This is completely normal IMO, has to do with the way the cams work.

    Slight toe in is good.

My guess is there is more adjustment available. They barely lowered the camber and the caster dropped significantly.

That much positive camber is going to wear out the outside of his tires which is unacceptable.

They couldn't even get the steering wheel straight the first try.

Post pics of your cam tabs on the LCA. That will tell us if there is anything that can be done to improve.

Maybe, but I doubt it. Too much lift. My guess is the eccentrics are maxed out at that lift height.

Camber is not that bad, not ideal, either...

Most people on here would bitch if they had even a half degree of positive camber. This guy has a full degree.

Judging by the amount of camber they took out vs the amount of caster they took out I'd say there is room for adjustment.

He might have got 3.5" of lift coming from his old, sagging coils...

I'll post a pic of the LCA cam tabs tomorrow morning. That was also my guess as to why I got the lift I did. The suspension was original with 69K+ miles. I measured it again this afternoon and it dropped 1/8" up front and went up 1/8" in the rear. I used the same measuring method so I'm not sure how the lift transferred.

They were bought and assembled from HS. It's on the "0" setting.

I seriously was expecting 3" at the most which is why I bought the Icons.

There is DEFINITELY room for adjustment. I'd head to a better shop and request 0 camber with as much available caster as possible. If the dipshit at the counter gives you ANY shit about your request, turn around and try a different shop.

Agree with Justin, cams appear to have room for adjustment. Can't tell if tabs are bent or are all okay.

Not only that there is room, OP has aftermarket UCA's which should have a built in 3-4 degrees of positive caster. Even with a 3.5" of lift, should be at least 2+ caster with zero camber.
