Thoughts on 2019 TRD Pro lineup?

Welp, here it is. Interested to see what you guys think. I gotta say though, Toyota REALLY f****d up with that snorkel. That thing is longer than a giraffes neck.

Underwhelming so far

 

I dont think it would fit in my garage with that 10 foot snorkel...

 

The snorkel kind of reminds me of this guys arm!

 

A lot of ppl talking shit about the snorkel, but soon they have it on their truck. Because TRD bro

 

BBS Wheels for the tundra is pretty cool.

 

Will need to get my head around the snorkel thing, but lame Good Year tires still while 4Runner gets Nittos—really?

 

Is the snorkle standard or an option?

 

My thoughts are I like the 4runner. That snorkel is hideous

 

Show me the people who talked shit about a snorkel and then "soon had it on their truck".


I think the snorkel better be an option or they are gonna absolutely destroy their sales of the pro model. Tundra wheels look a lot like the 4runner wheels and the hood scoop looks super long and skinny on it. I think the 4runner is the only truck that came out a winner today.

 

From what I have read, it seems to be an optional accessory.

They would definitely do good keeping that obnoxious looking thing as an option.

The snorkel would look fine if it was 5” shorter idk why they made it that long... with a pre cleaner on there it would be horrendous.

 

It seems like Toyota is really trying to grab the attention of the same buyers who buy the Raptor for the branding. Rigid lights, Fox suspension, and a snorkel are all things you typically see installed immediately on with owner that want to stand out whether or not they use those accessories to their potential.
