So I had my front windows tinted to match the rear about a month ago when I got my new taco, it looks great and keeps the heat out but there's some bubbles under it and under llumars warranty the shop is redoing the passenger window. However, they asked if I ever considered doing the back for the heat rejection and UV rejection benefits. Now I know factory tint doesn't offer much of anything so I am actually considering having it done. My question is the shop I go to carries Llumar and Prestige films, has anyone tried the Llumar formula 1 ceramic or prestige photosync? The price doubles each level up from Llumar metallic<Llumar formula one<prestige, is it worth the $600-$700 for the prestige? I hear great things about the heat rejection and was debating doing 35 on the front windows, 75 on the backs and possibly 75 on the windshield (I have to make it look like there's not much tint on it as tint is not legal in my state on the windshield). Just looking for suggestions, maybe someone has had both and can offer some insight etc. The front windows have the standard Llumar metallic on them now, but being replaced under warranty means they will remove the film free of charge and help with the price of anything new I'd choose if I decide to change it.

Well metallic can interfere with electronics and signal . I opted for carbon as ceramic is a bit rich for my taste. 25% on the sides and 18% on the rear. My current vehicle has no tint from the factory so it's just about right. 25% is max legal in my state for the sides. My rear @ 18% makes it a little bit of a PITA to see at night . No idea on the front.
