    Hi All

i have searched the forums and havent found any specific cases where folks have this kit on their 2nd gen. in general from what i have found on the YouTube they seem to be a good kit.

for this price point any other suggestion in Canada? im just looking for a bit more comfort and a bit of lift and level 2" if that.

    https://eibach.ca/part/2014/Toyota/...r+Spring+and+Shock+Assembly/E86-82-007-01-22/

    thanks!

I’ve had the Stage 1 kit for about 6 months, paired with OME rear leafs. The OMEs ride a little stiff, but I haul stuff, so it’s no big deal. The Eibach kit is great, plush compared to OEM SR5 suspension. When it’s not snowing, or I’m not shoveling, I’ll snap some pics for you.

I talked to Eibach, and they recommended https://www.northernperformance.ca/ as a warranty approved dealer in Canada.

I am having Eibach Pro-Truck Coilover Stage 2 currently installed on my Tacoma. I should be getting the truck back any day now. I'll update you on the ride quality. I will be running 35s with them too.

I installed these on my 2014 about a year and a half ago. I love it. Firmed the ride up a bit compared to the stock Bilsteins which is a plus for me. I only leveled my truck though. The rear is the same height (no blocks or additional leafs added) & I raised the front using the adjustable coil-overs. I purchased mine directly through Eibach around Black Friday because there was a killer sale going on at the time. They may do it again this year if you can wait a couple weeks.

Eibach has a remote reservoir rear shock coming out soon.

I saw the remote reservoirs on their website, I might pick up a set if they have a black Friday sale. Would like to relocate my rear shocks. Also like most companies like King, Fox etc they sell replacement/upgrade springs for the front coilovers. I think I may need to upgrade mine since I ordered a front bumper. They're really an inexpensive suspension upgrade without breaking the bank.

lol! I am pretty OCD about my vehicles. I drag out the pressure washer & clean the undercarriage anytime they treat the roads in the winter. I also wipe down the wheel wells every time I wash the truck.

I didn't know there was a package that included the rears with resi...would've forked out the extra $300 for that option over what I got. No complaints though.

I did have the chance to pick up the truck from the shop last Friday but unfortunately I got sick and now just started feeling better. I have an appointment for an alignment tomorrow. Anyhow, I am hoping to put in some miles on the suspension this weekend and through the holiday. From what I've noticed from the short drive to and from work is the ride is a little stiffer than stock, more so the front than the rear.. The rear, paired with the OME leaf springs makes for a soft/stable ride when I hit dips or rough roads. The front, feels stiff to where the front comes down a little hard over bumps but this may be caused by the alignment where both of my tires are toed out in opposite directions. My steering wheel is clocked closed to 90*. Overall I am super happy with this set up. Im sure the suspension needs time to settle and the more I drive it, the more it'll soften up. Its a great budget option for those not wanting to go the Bilstein route. I'll update more after the holiday.

I've driven the truck on the Eibach Stage 2 Pro Truck suspension close to a month now. I've spoken to accutune and eibach on the stiffness and both say the springs would need to be changed out for something softer or add weight. I am currently waiting to pick up my C4 bumper from powdercoating. I will report back once I have that on and have driven it for a while.

At slow speeds, it does ride stiff when cruising around the neighborhood but it handles dips and the smooths out at highway speeds.

Found this article on the suspension as well.

How heavy are the springs that it comes with?

The POS Pro comp kit I've got on mine has 720lb springs IIRC. I ran 34 1/2" Toyo MTs like you have for a while. It wasn't a pleasant experience. Even when I had P-rated Toyo RTs it still sucked.

Reason I asked is I'm looking to swap it out for either Bilstein 6112s or the Eibach stage 2. Either would be a big improvement probably

Im on the pro stage 2. A buddy mentioned that my heavy steel wheels and heavy tires may be contributing to the ride quality as well.

I've also read somewhere that they come with 720lb springs by the rep said they come with 650lbs springs and their website doesn't say anything.

I haven't driven or rode in a tacoma withe the Eibach kit on it. But I can say that the 600lb springs that come with 6112's are way too soft IMO, might be the OME Med leaf springs too that throw off the balance of the suspension. I have considered going back to 3rd gen TRD Off Road suspension since it felt way more planted with less dive and pitch into turns. The 3rd gen TRD OR front springs are 700lb and it did feel more stiff, but in a good way. It was never harsh and felt a lot more settled since the coils are more balanced to the stiffness of the leaf springs. The key is that the dampening has to be designed with the spring rate in mind. If it is 720lb springs, then I think a 650lb spring might be ok. But if you go lower than that the damping might be sluggish, especially in rebound.

If I go the 6112 route, I would do the 650lb springs. Mostly so I don't lose any of the lift I have now. Would probably run on the 5/4 clip setting
