2 door and 4 door are body on frame sharing platform with the next Generation Ranger, the Bronco Sport is the unibody platform thinking maybe sharing the Escape Platform.

I dig it. Would be a fun one to have. Did anyone see what they can tow?

Agreed, the Blazer is a massive disappointment, they should have named it something else. The new 2 door Bronco 7MT with Sasquatch Package would be a beast!

My only grievance with the Bronco is that it doesn't have a CD player :(

I believe it said 3500#, if they make the rumored Bronco Pickup then I could see that number going up.

Was a bit skeptical of the new Bronco. Holy crap looks amazing. Anything that competes with the Jeep is great, just in principle.

I think the biggest failing of the FJ was the visibility, or lack thereof.

My wife and I went to drive one and as soon as she sat in it and looked out the back she said No Way!

While that could be mitigated somewhat now with cameras, a quick glance over your shoulder in an FJ nets you a good look at the interior of your FJ.

Think about it, how often do you see girls driving the FJ and how often do you see girls driving Wranglers?

Guys will put up with it because OFF ROAD PROWESS!! but a soccer mom won't.

Fox 2.5 Performance Elite, Icon RXT springs, U-bolt flip, Pelfreybilt sliders, DeMello front bumper, BAMF rear high clearance bumper. OTT tune
Probably be $80,000, if they did.

So, looks like they merged some threads, so I'll repeat this.

I reserved a 2dr, 7sp MT Black Diamond. I got this level due to the steel bumpers, sliders(or whatever ford is calling them), upgraded skid plates, rubber floor mat with drains, steel wheels that will have 285/75/17s (that I put on), rear locker, 4.6 gears, etc.

I liked my FJ, but I think I'll like this more with the removable top. I'll still have my Tacoma when I need it, so it's not a compromise for me.

If I have a job, have my debts paid off, and the kids fit in the backseat, I can see myself in one in a couple of years. Def want the 4-door in Area 51, mid-tier package. My Taco is paid off at the end of this year. My wife is next in line for a new vehicle, though her '09 Rav4 only has 50,000 miles and is in fantastic shape. I have plans to keep the Taco and relegate it as the camping rig and then my oldest kiddo will drive it when they're old enough.

2 door is ok. 4 door looks stupid.
They threw a FJ, a Jeep, and a Marine into a room and this is what was created.

I honestly doubt it, seems like you can already configure these out now, can't imagine what a Raptor Version could add that's not already available.

Come on now Toyota! Bring back the FJ. Solid front axle, and no turbos. That will finally make a dent in Wrangler sales! Ford really missed the mark here.
