Don't want to clutter this thread, but do you have any albums or links to your Pinzgauer?

    I am seriously considering a 710.

Off topic - I don't have any albums, but I'd be happy to chat with you about Pinzgauers. I've had three...710M, 710K and 712M. They all have their pros and cons depending on how you want to use them. My son and I were in the 712M when we were wheeling with the FJCruisers. It is possible they chose our group to ride with because of the Pinz. The FJs went everywhere the Pinz went, but without as much fanfare and style. :)

Update - check my albums for a couple of Pinz pics. I forgot I had them in there.

I personally love them. However I need to get out of my current vehicle by this winter so no Bronco for me anytime soon. If for some reason I just don't love my truck then I'll be getting a Bronco in 2-3 years.

They aren't trying to rival the Tacoma. I will get my 2dr Bronco to compliment my Tacoma. They will do things the other doesn't.

So far the manual squatch is not confirmed by Ford, but if true, I will be getting it. I will get the manual regardless, but to get the stronger front axle with a locker, better suspension, and the 35s is worth the expense.

I agree with you there, the Tacoma isn't in their sights. But this is TW, everything is compared to the Tacoma haha

Ford has their Ranger to go after the Tacoma, and their Bronco to compete with the Wrangler. Ford is attacking the segment on both fronts. Where as Jeep and Toyota only have one vehicle each to combat Ford's two vehicles.

That's a good question. I'd have to assume only with the 2.3 but I am a pessimist.

Take that cash a SAS a 3rd gen.

I really don’t get the hype, but I guess it looks cool if you have unlimited funds to burn for shits and giggles.

That’s how I feel about the 3rd gens, but whatever. I’ll have my Tacoma and my Bronco and be quite happy.

Hopefully one that doesn't feel like you're in a dungeon, especially in the rear seat.

Maybe they'll do a mid-cycle refresh with a manual? Did that happen with the Mustangs? I think it builds uo some hype and gets people to trade up down the road. I imagine other cars where people want manuals (like the Supra) will eventually get them too.
