Finally got my place in line for a 2021 4 door Badlands! In anti-matter blue.

Want to Squatch it, but the trade-offs are mighty steep:
    No manual transmission
    No sway bar disconnect
    No roof rack (?!?)

Would have liked the 2.7 but then no manual trans.

I like those 17" steelies that come stock on the Black Diamond too.
Hoping I can opt to downgrade to them and skim some cash off the MSRP.

I 'd probably have to sell the taco and I am not 100% sure I want to do that.

Ford reliability is questionable; resale value more so- compared to my 2nd gen.
I really like my bed space and the actual cargo space looks small, esp compared to my long bed/cap.

At least I don't have anything to tow.

Have you looked at the gearing? I doubt I even use the 7th gear and 1st is the granny low, so the reality of it for me will be more like a 5sp.

I drive a Tacoma 4cy MT. The Bronco is probably going to take some getting used to because it will have so much more torque and power than my Tacoma.

I wanted a base mansquatch. Since that is now a MY22 and I'm not waiting, I'm getting a Black Diamond 2dr MT in velocity blue. I wanted the squatch package for the upgraded front axle and lower gears, and hope I don't regret not getting it. I'm sure I'll replace the coilovers soon with Fox or similar.

I'm just trying to figure out which tires to put on it. The Generals will not be on it when I drive it home. Trying to decide between which Coopers, ST_MAXX or AT3 XLT, and which size, 255/80/17 or 285/75/17. There should be enough clearance for either, but the steelies are only 7 inches wide.

Have you seen the list of accessories? Gearing looks awesome. 5.38s an option.

So, ordering supposedly opened today. How many here have made it into their dealers first allocation? I plan to go in next week to put my order in. Hopefully I'll get mine before fall hunting season as I have a late season goat hunt I want to abuse it on.

I'm probably on the bubble with regards to getting a MY21 or a MY22, but that is driven more based on when I registered. Generally dealers got allocations of about 1/3 of their reservations. If you were Day 1, then you can get a MY21. Day 2 - on the bubble. Not sure how far out the bubble would extend. All that depends on what options you select...I want the 2.7 and Squatch, so that pushes me farther out.

It's all going to be a crapshoot as to who gets a MY21 and who doesn't. I have a first night reservation, so I am in my dealers allocation, but I'm getting a 2 DR, which we know may be limited. Who knows how limited though.

I found out that I'm #130 at my dealership, so I'm probably not even on the bubble any more. They only have an initial allocation of 70. Good luck on your MY21 order; I hope that the 2 dr doesn't hamper you too much.

Got my order in for a 2dr Black Diamond 7sp manual. Will put 255/80/17s on at the dealer before taking delivery.

Nice and congrats. That will be a good looking rig.

I got a call from my dealer to see if I was ordering or delaying to MY22. Told him I was going to go ahead and order even though I'll probably get pushed to next year. He is calling back Sunday afternoon or Monday to actually put the order in...this call was to just move my number from reservation to orders in the system.
