I’ve seen a hand full of sports driving around here in Florida. This one was owned by a Family visiting the Beach.

The Sport has 5lugs as shown above. The Bronco has 6lugs. I'm guessing that blue color is Area51.

    Mostly dust and dirt.
I’m old enough to remember when 3 and 4 speed transmissions didn’t gut the engine of power. But you keep pretending that 90 speed transmissions are better.

That looks like it. I like it but not enough to blow 40k or whatever they are asking.

according to a 2 second google, starting is 28.5 - so really, not bad actually. I expected a much higher number too. I'm sure you can load them out to above 50k, same with the Tacoma though. SR 2WD is around 28.5 and ranges up to Pro biting at 60k.

Mine is around $35K and built fairly decent. Of course I'll spend way more than I should on upgrades once I get it, but I'd do that on anything I bought.

I got a 36.5k Tacoma so sounds about right. That bronco is really going force the next gen 4Runner to step it up. Ford has been solid with the 2.7 Twin and the 2.3 i4 single, offering a 7M and their ATs are good. Really if I was in a full size truck it would be a Ford hands down. Even the ranger was a close contender to the Tacoma, and as an engineer I fully support the ranger over the Tacoma. I’ve just always wanted a Tacoma and it was a “now or never” type of thing.

next vehicle may very well be a bronco

The Ranger is reminiscent of the 2nd gen Tacoma. Almost like Ford was building a vehicle to compete with the 2nd gen Taco.

There's no way I'm getting rid of the Tacoma. It's sitting out in the driveway with over 1500lbs of concrete in it right now. Can't imagine not having a truck to do work. The Bronco will be just for fun, like my FJ used to do.

it’s got a hitch just get a utility trailer.

all depends - we might be selling home soon to move to Austin so we’d be renting an apartment and wouldn’t have the house needs of a truck bed. If that happens I’ll probably get the 2.3 bronco in a heartbeat. But I’m only at 30k and 270 to go on the Tacoma before I start thinking about a trade in.

have you driven one? Looks maybe but interior, features, ability, driving feel, that truck is better than the Tacoma. For every measure other than turning radius, every bone in my body tells me the ranger is a better truck. I still got the Tacoma but, the ranger is better.

I'd hate to be a slave to a trailer. I use my truck bed all the time and there is no way I want to be limited to only having a trailer.
I guess it might work for some, but I've been driving a truck since the mid 80s and can't imagine life without one.
