Technically anything that is worth a damn off road has bad mpg. Kind of goes hand and hand .If there was a do it all off road vehicle we would all be on that forum lol . For now it’s here . Or a samurai forum .

I put a deposit in. I'm going to build a Badlands trim.

This is why I hate the internet sometimes.. What the hell does that have to do with a taco, bronco or Jeep? No one is going to be running that stuff under their vehicle, they are going to buy some already fab'd bolt on kit that requires minimal fabrication and go wheel trails. I've put this IFS through its paces and the reality is that SAS is better for the offroading I do as well as everyone else out here. The weekend wheeling/camping I do really needs an SAS and 37s, something easily achieved in a Jeep with minimal effort.

The Bronco in this case, since thats the topic, won't have the ease of modification as Jeeps do and thus will have minimal sales. It will get some since it's new and nostalgic but will fade quickly.

By your argument everyone can just buy a subaru and winch and go wherever they want.

I like the looks of the new Bronco...but I will never ever buy another Ford product. My girlfriend insisted on a Ford Focus....You know the car.. It's this era's Chevrolet Vega.Biggest piece of shit transmission ever made. And of course Ford won't recall it.and the dealers in this area really suck. Fucked Once Regret Daily

Has the essence of a Bronco. They did a nice job on it... looks like a Ford if you like that. IMHO, Jeep's JL looks better.

I question the longevity of a modern Ford as well. It won’t be Toyota reliability. That much I can tell you.

Ford builds some good vehicles, the Focus ain't one of them. Shame on you for letting your girlfriend buy one.

I could see me in one in a few years. We are buying a RAV-4 sometime in the next month or 2. In another 4-5 years I'll be in the market for something else for me to drive. That should be just about enough time to get a good feel for how well they are doing.

Very impressive! Available 35s from the factory, locking front and rear Dana diffs, in cabin sway bar disconnect and reconnect. These things look like beasts!

Unfortunately, I’d never buy one because I just wouldn’t use it. It would just sit looking pretty in the driveway because my boat goes from my garage to the concrete ramp. Lol. Other than running for coffee, that’s all my Tacoma does and it would be criminal to make a Bronco be just a pavement pounder.

I hope it lives up to the hype for them.

The only ford in my eyes that was worth a damn is the gt40 and the gt. I’ve had the honor of working on the original 60’s gt40 ( still have the Polaroid lol) . Back in California. Don’t get me wrong the trucks are ok but I only would own a F1.

I wanna know the price of the mint green one with white accents in the promo videos. Wheels looked like methods too, perfect in stock trim. Id imagine with all that tech, $60k, similar to a loaded JLU Rubi.

I think that the new Bronco looks pretty cool. It seems to be well thought out. I probably won’t get one but it’s the first vehicle in awhile to grab my attention.

Ya man, keep comparing purpose built custom fabricated rock "bouncers" to everyday DD's with weekend wheelers. Come out to CO and drive your Taco like that and see how far you get; and in all honesty, my rear suspension has better articulation than that thing.
