    Input would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking at a White 2004 DC 4x4 V6. It's a dealer and he wants 12995 for it. It has 119000 miles.
    Options include:
PW, PL, Cruise, AM/FM/Cassette/CD, Leer Camper Lid, drop in liner, tow pkg, has 2008 TRD rims, BFG All Terrains. It's a NoN TRD pkg truck. Truck looks clean. Has a small dent on right rear quarter panel behind wheel well.

Any input on what I should offer?

yea its kinda high for that mileage and being a non trd. Id say 10-11 is fair at most

That's better than my area. Nice 1st Gen Tacomas, especially Dblcabs, are scarce and priced that way. Mine was a "White Elephant" being a 4cyl 2wd the book ( Edmunds, KBB, and NADA) was about $11K excellent cond 98K miles, which mine was. Dealers are asking (if you pay any attention to asking) "$2-3K" above book starting.

I dont think you're going to find any truck like it for that price range, even from a private party. I was looking for a white DC (prerunner or 4x4) and couldnt find one that was reasonably priced. One was at a used car lot in the bay area and they wanted like 19k for it.

Well after further investigation and a CarFax- I didn't get that ride. Appearances are deceiving! Thing was salvaged and had 6 different owners since 2004. Thanks for the help everyone!

Please excuse my impertinence - but - don't buy from a dealer.

I may be completely, utterly wrong ..... but I get the impression that there appears to be an organized effort to keep Toyota prices artificially high. So far, I have met *one* honest Toyota dealer.

Buy from an owner or team up with an insider to buy from an auto auction.

That sounds a little cheap to me. Im my area, that truck would bring 13-14k if it was clean. Lets face it. that mileage is not high for these trucks.
