it looks so much better! and if people drive cloe enough to get it by stuff from your tires.... they need to back of. and if your worried about rock chips ive seen these clear protectors that go on your truck behind your tire.

Took my front flaps off first and went with that for a few months. Finally got sick of watching out for the rear flaps when I was on the trails so took those off as well. There were a number of times I had to stop when backing up because otherwise they would get ripped off if I kept going.

The sliders seem to catch anything in the front so far. Before the sliders the oval nerf bars did an awesome job. The bottom of the rear bumper has taken some rock chips. In hindsight, I could have put some paint protection film on that part of the bumper before taking off the flaps. Note - I did that on my tailgate and it's nice not having to worry about dirt causing scratches on the tailgate. The steel bumper I am getting should solve any more rock chip concerns. Your pics look a lot better without the flaps.

Off, fuck people behind you, like that's an issue anyways. Most vehicles on the road don't have'em.

So, how do you know a flap would have prevented this?

My point, a smart car can sling a stone out or it's tire tread, well, I think they have enough power to do this.

Front flaps off rears on. My truck came that way used when i bought it. I love mud flaps just cause it can prevent a lot of dings and rock scratches when flying up on your doors/ paint. My tires say they are anti stone rentention which is good but after driving on a gravel road and crusing down the road/highway i'll hear the rocks pinging off my paint and i cringe everytime. I got some used front flaps and put them on and the front tires rubbed them like crazy so i took them off. I either have to lift the truck a little higher or deal with it.

leave em on. in bc its illegal not to have them, the police love to hand out inspections over this and not having fender flares. if they rub make flexible ones moved back or get a lift if your takin them off to look more like a truck

I keep em on. Plus I have had rocks thrown up from vehicles and ding my windshield up pretty bad.

i find it very amusing that the main theme of all the replies has been rock chip this, rock chip that, i don't want scratches......excuse me for being a lil blunt but what the hell did you women buy your truck to do!? be a pavement queen and look pretty and not get a single scratch!? i most certainly didn't! I bought my TX pro brand new 1 year ago, within a week i was out hittin trails, within a month took the mudflaps off and never looked back and now i have scratches and chips all up and down both sides of my truck from rocks and bushes on trails, not to mention a smashed "aluminum foil" skid plate :p (man factory skid is crap! ATO here i come).....its a truck built to off road for a reason, stop whining, take off the flaps for good and USE THE DAMN THING!!! :D

Why did you buy a TX Pro when you could have added all the extra gear for less money Mr Hardcore ?

Erm... not EVERYONE is a hardcore off roader. I bought my truck as a daily driver to and from work, and because I wanted/needed a truck box. That doesn't mean I go hitting the trails every weekend ya'know.
