Thoughts on Spyder's Crystal Headlights?

My stock headlights just aren't cutting it. I know they aren't aimed right, but even so they're not bright enough. I am looking at Spyder's Crystal Headlights - HD-JH-TT01-AM-SM-SET

Does anyone have these, with pictures for a lunar mist? They look close to stock, which is what I want, just brighter. For the price they seem like a good idea, better than new bulbs, since I think something was wrong with the wiring harness, as one light kept going out. A mechanic couldn't fix the problem permanently, but getting in a wreck did for some reason.

I have read that HID's aren't a good idea unless you're willing to fork over the cash so I don't particularly want to go that route...

 

Spyders lights are known to have poor output, and leak so you get water inside the headlight.

Thanks, I have seen that thread I might just do that...at least I'm not stupid enough to throw 19.99 HiD's in the stock housings...
