This is my 2021 dc trd off road, it's bone stock and I love this little truck. Today was a great test for it, picked up 20 bags off topsoil at the big box store, 800lbs in the bed and most of it to the rear. She pulled and accelerated good and actually road OK. I did feel what seemed like it was bottomed out on a couple of big bumps. It did squat it down quite a bit as you can see in the pic. My thoughts are that I don't haul this kind of weight in it very often, I have a trailer for really heavy or large stuff when needed. I don't want to lift it or stiffen the springs because I want to keep the ride that it has, I like it. So for me air bags are the way to go, there when I need it, and stock ride when I don't.

She's a little low in the back.
