    I liked mine and it seems well built, I just didn't like it on the vent. I ended up buying a single dash mount plate and used the ball and phone mount from this one and I like that even more.

    Here they are. I pulled the ball out of the vent mount, then threaded the mounting screw from the bottom of the dash mount. You can't use the 1" ball that comes with the dash mount. I plan on pulling the ball off again and removing the splines just to clean it up a little.
