I use mine as an everyday vehicle and it's great. I'd probably pay around $20k for a very clean and very low mileage 4wd off BAT and drive it til I die.

That's a great truck but a lousy price. With all the sitting that truck's done, there's trucks owned by people on this site with 10-20x the mileage that will need less maintenance (because all the wear components have been replaced already, perhaps several times).

Additionally this truck is so pretty I wouldn't want to take it down narrow off road trails and scratch up the paint real bad, or really use it and abuse it as a working truck. Not worth 25k or more in my book.

$25K is my max. Might be placing a bid.

I bought a little old lady low milage car once.

Damn thing was so dry rotted it threw a rod after just one year of actually driving it.

Often low mile queens go for too much for me. That said, even $30k would be a lot less than most new equivalent options. Just remember that new OEM parts availability is still limited.

Lots of 1st gen 4runners and trucks come up on that site and most are very well cared for.

Pictures of the undercarriage are suspiciously small in combination with

A 99 with16K miles? Totally suspicious . . . but tell you what if it were closer I'd drive out to have a look. :p

My original owner '04 was used as a commuter vehicle adding 8-9k miles per year for for 12 years. Since retiring it gets occasional use every week or so, less than 1k a year. Garaged most of the time grandpa truck so they are out there.

I personally couldn’t. This thing has gone up to $35k i can find a lot of clean recent trucks with about the same miles costing about $35k. For me a truck like that is for a collector item.

I personally only drive about 8K a year. The Tacoma gets maybe 500, it's not my daily.
My issue is how long has it been sitting, maintenance history, and how desperate am I to own it.

It went for $38K + $2K in buyers fees. The paint was "tired" and had some suspicious recent undercoating done to it.

That is insane for a 24 year old truck. Wondering now if I should sell mine it's in way better shape and is a DLX LOL

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
My issue with the stupid low mileage trucks is they almost always have the worst leaks because all they do is sit.. I would pay a lot for a low mileage truck. But not the 30k+ these command these days..

Im like 13k into my 98 with 94k miles. That’s the lowest I’ve got

Sorry, wife has instructions to bury me in it, along with my vinyl collection.

Maybe right, for most, the ones I've actually seen people just don't put a bazillion miles on them. In the case of the OP's posted truck, I seriously suspect a rollback, 16K is ridiculous.

Bought mine in 2018, 63K. Now has 84K. That's 3500 miles a year, give or take. Never had a leak, oil is right on full every time I check it, other than oil changes never had to top it off.

Right you are, dozens of pictures of the exterior and only five of the frame/underneath. Something I would be concerned about. For that kind of money, this truck would need to be gone thru thoroughly, regardless of the story behind it.
