Finally got an update from Matt, after I sent him an email saying give us a freaking update already! So he did lol.

Hey guys, thank you so much for being patient with us on creating a new product! The Freedom Winch Line is now in production. Its been hard for me to pin down a date as supply chains and everything is crazy right now. Believe it or not, rope is just about as hard to find as lumber or even gasoline was in the south a couple weeks ago. It seems covid has hit every industry hard and synthetic fibers was no exception.

But alas, we finally have all the raw materials ready to go! Another challenge was break strength testing. The first few designs were under what I thought was an appropriate rating. After a few tweaks we finally have the break strength on both portions of the rope up to 15,000 lbs which is right on par with the rope itself and is way more than a 10,000 lb winch can pull.

One other design challenge was from our customer base. Multiple viewers of my original video were wanting a way to replace the end of the rope if it were to be damaged. We heard you and have made that a reality with out new design!

And then there are the patent challenges, we have 2 lawyers and a consultant working hard to make this a reality!

With that said, the Freedom Winch Line is now in production! We still don't have an exact date.
These lines are being made by hand in a facility in Houston as we speak.

Whats Next?? Next up is waiting for the lines to arrive. I'll need to finalize packaging and accessories like the sheathing, then begin shipping right here from my living room, yep, living room! Actually formerly living room converted to packaging/shipping station, who has time for TV anyways!

Looks like the end of the rope will be replaceable. So that is a great upgrade already!

It has arrived.

Top quality, but I am not sure the price justifies it. Will have to wait and see. I am going to wait until my current line gets a problem before I replace it.

I am just some recovery newb who likes new innovative things.

This absolute professional recovery OG, spools his 2nd Freedom winch line onto a 2nd recovery vehicle and says;

Matt 'I like it so much, I wont go back.'

he’s also buddy’s with bleepinjeep so I’m sure he doesn’t pay full price, Wouldn't surprise me if he gets them for free.

Also just looked at the retail price. Holy crap!
