Thoughts on this possible buy????

2002 reg cab 4 cyl 2.4 liter with 108,500 miles on it... Buying it off a dealership with 4 previous owners and a clean carfax. Not too familiar with the 4 cyl models I have the dealership who snickered it 8995 down to 5000 + 600 fee tax and title.... Idles good body is perfect no rust on frame... Interior clean with minor flaws....just worried of possible issues? Any thoughts

 

Sounds comparable to what I have. Mines 02 2.4L $ cyl with 112k - 5k from dealership sounds about right.

I bought mine 3 years ago with 75-80k on it (don't remember exact mileage) for 7k.

 

Sounds like a good deal. If it hasn't been done, have them check the valve clearances. If they get burnt it can cost thousands to fix and they get tighter and tighter with age.
