drives without insurance. (dick)

turns left into traffic without right of way (slick)

causes accident.

i hope the cops were called. Both I and the significant other were hit by uninsured motorists. accidents happen and they suck, but it really fuckin sucks when you have to pay out of your own pocket to fix shit that some dumbfuck caused.

The car that hit me was actually a Tesla, from what I know they record footage before an accident and save it. I'm not sure how that will work out but when the shit hits the fan this will probably be the deciding evidence

The good news is that unless the other driver is a complete moron and just goes her merry way, the OP will get to pay out of pocket to repair two vehicles.

What don't you understand about the fact it doesn't fucking matter? The oncoming driver had the right of way. Traffic in motion basically ALWAYS has the right of way. You pulled into her lane of travel, probably in a place where there was no chance for her to see you because you appeared out from in front of two other lanes of traffic.

You don't have insurance, and you don't know how to drive. You're what makes the roads a nightmare. Own your actions and buy a new truck because yours probably has a fucked up frame. Learn to drive, and get insurance.

Man I hope your truck is paid for and you are not making payments still. It sucks that you didn't have insurance but life goes on. I agree with everyone take your truck in and have it checked before you do anything. I hope it works out for you buddy.

From the looks of the picture, there's an 818 area code there, so more than likely LA.

 

the other guy can sue him in small claims court but that might be a waste of time if he has no assets to go after. most likely, the tesla owner has uninsured motorist coverage and his insurance covers the repairs to his car.
