I have seen no analysis on the largest tires that will fit on the new 1.5/0.5 inch lifted TRD PRO without cutting / mods. I feel like one could get away with something bigger than 265/75/16? Anyone know for sure with direct experience?

Without any cutting your pretty limited. 285 will absolutely rub. You can do skinny 255/85s but imo they look "off"

Naaaa. 5.29s and a tune and it's quicker than a stock truck. From a dead stop my truck will break traction in a strait line no problem with 35s.

It’s not “these threads again” — we know the common wisdom is 265/75/16, but the 2022 PRO is the tallest factory lift and not tested in terms of tire size from what I’ve seen on the threads. So, it’s a bit different than what’s out there and common knowledge.

You being intelligent and a lawyer and all, you would think you would see the thousands of posts on that subject.
2657517 is it until you rub.

Same as 2021. Same as 2020.
Also you should know that a lift does not help fit larger tires, because when you hit a bump, the suspension cycles through the stock height. Unless, you lift it twelve inches.

It’s 16 not 17. I thought the lift would make a difference — as I mentioned in my earlier post (which you appear to be following my posts) — I don’t know what I don’t know and not afraid to ask. No reason to be a dick.

Not being a dick except you mentioned lawyer and you mentioned intelligent....
Your half or one inch lift does not change tire size that will fit without rubbing.
265/75/16 or 17 is it. Go to 285 and you need to make mods.

The whole point of me mentioning that I’m a lawyer was in the context of deferring to the judgment and experience of those who know what they are doing in a certain field - in the other post I was saying that I defer to the detailer (he knows more than me) and I stay in my lane being a lawyer and it makes no difference that I’m intelligent because that’s not my field and it’s his craft not mine. Funny how people read things in their own way just so they can take a jab. I’m just here asking a question about the lift making an difference in tire size - if you’re an engineer I defer to you (my wife is one too). Now I think about it yes it makes sense as width is the bigger issue here. So Jesus fucking Christ don’t be rude.

Lol. I have been an expert witness in several trials. My opinion of lawyers stands fast. No jabs, just fact.

Who gives a shit about your opinion. You just don’t like me because I’m a lawyer and that’s the reason for the jab. So pointless get a life.
