    If you are sure of both sizes any machine shop worth it's salt can easily machine the center of a 3/4" bolt to 12 MM 1.25. I would take them the lever and the bolt and if you can find a nut to fit the shaft you are trying to fasten it to or the lever you are replacing, you probably only want to do this once.

    So you're going from SAE to metric. This won't be an off the shelf part.

    Why don't you go to home depot and check the knob by screwing in one of their 3/4"-16 bolts just to make sure it's the right size.

    Once you for sure know what you need you'll have to get your adapter made somewhere. Looks like American Shifter does this a lot or you can go to your local machine shop like I'd recommend.

    I just visited Barton's site they don't list any thing for a Tacoma or a Toyota for that matter so you are own your own. Are you even sure the stick end of you Tacoma is threaded? In the past they were not in was one piece that went directly into the trans. this of course is assuming you have a stick shift if you don't what good is a short shifter going to do you?
