Three 38"s and one 35"??? This cant work right

I just want to know if this works.... One of my fellow marines drives a dodge sitting on 38"s.... he had to replace on of the tires due to the fact that he was missing a basketball size piece of tread.... He said he couldnt afford another 38" so he went and bought a 35" instead to replace the damaged tire.... my question is how is this going to affect his rear end.... to me logic says something is not going to work right.... he has been driving it around like this for a day or so and nothing has went wrong yet.....

 

I dont know what kind of rear end he has....

Its very dumb if you ask me... its not the same kind of tire either... and we are not talking about the brightest person here....lol

 

It won't wear out the clutches as long as he goes in circles where both wheels are turning the same speed - Maybe a local traffic circle.

 

Are you sure he's a Marine? Maybe Merchant Marine? What do his boots look like?

 

i dont see how thats saving him money though, he could have used his spare 33 or whatever is stock and got by

 

Why the hell would anyone be content with THAT??? Looking like one of those busted up mutant toys in Toy Story tell him to give up something for a couple days and buy the right one.

 

He probably should have spent the money he used for the 35" on getting his Meds refilled, it would have been a better decision

 

The little spares I've seen are usually documented for 50-80 miles of use....I would never install just one new tire no matter what the size....Doing different sizes is just dumb.

 

Serves you right for getting 38's in the first place. I would say if he can't afford them, sell off the rest of the 38's and get 35's all around.
