Threw the towel in ....

Had owned a 21 Tacoma Sport. Had my name on a 24 Limited for 6 weeks, expected delivery fist week of February .
Hasn't even been built. With the EPA involved as to why they're not shipping, with that and the price, I gave up on it. Bought a Canyon yesterday.
Compared to the 21 Tacoma, it's more of a truck.

Very nice. Same engine as Silverado, new generation transmission, fingers crossed, more value, I think it is a solid truck. Enjoy it.

 

Smart move. I'm guessing we are months away from seeing any 4Gs, and they will be disappointing when delivered.

I agree, I think the Colorado is the best looking of the new mid-size offerings.

 

My coworker just put a deposit on TRD sport that is incoming. Dealer said 2-3 weeks it should be in. 5k market adjustment... He was able to get them down to 2k. trucks gonna be 51k before tax title etc.

 

That is a good looking truck, plus you have a step on your bumper... How much $?

 

Hard to believe 2-3 weeks. None of them have moved from Mexico.

 

Sticker was 49,700 got them down to 48,000. Big plus was that they had one !

 

It's definitely a looker! I drove a ZR2 and checked out an AT4X that was in a GMC showroom. The AT4X was 7K more than the ZR2 but it wasn't 7K nicer. If you don't have a sunroof i would advice not to take it through a carwash that has strong dryers. Heard that the roof gets dented.

That problem was addressed by GM on the assembly line. Putting some kind of foam in the roof. Anyones before the fix are still subject to that.

 

Being in Texas and being at a dealer are two different things.
