I'm not sure how accessible it is on the 2.7L but it wouldn't hurt.

I bet @BassAckwards knows how hard it is to get to.
I’d also like to hear his opinion on what that stuff in the OCV is?

I can’t figure out how it would make it passed the oil pick up screen, the oil filter, and the OCV screen?
Is there plastic “parts” in the OCV?

This is an odd one for sure.

Here’s where the filter is you’re looking for. I agree with @Dm93 it looks like that tan-ish rtv that toyota uses on their timing covers and oil pans

I still haven't had a chance to check that screen. Still might this week on my next day off. The rough idle seems to have resolved with the new spark plugs and solenoid. Throwing new codes now though and I'm getting occasional delayed engine response with acceleration

    You still have OCV problem.
Either in the wiring or the valve or oil flow to the sensor (screen)

P0010 sets when the duty cycle doesn’t match the target (commanded) cycle.
Basically, the ECM says do “this”, then monitors whether or not the “truck did what was told”.
If not, it sets the p0010

Are you 100% sure the OCV is plugged in?
    The P0010 is “new”.

Those aren't active codes they are permanent codes, permanent codes can not be cleared with a scan tool. They will clear themselves after a number of drive cycles without a failure.

The SAIS codes are active however

Did you make sure the vacuum hose is connected to the pressure sensor for the Secondary Air Injection System? It may have gotten knocked off when you were working on stuff.
I don't think the SAIS codes would have anything to do with the hesitation though as that system is only active for 30-60 secs after a cold start.

Yeah I knocked that smaller hose loose getting to my spark plugs. Thought I had plug every back in. I cleared the codes again and drove it 200 miles to visit family and looks like I'm in the clear. No engine light so far. I appreciate everyone's advice and help

Could you take a few chunks of that contamination and poke at it with an awl or something and tell us if it's hard or pliable?
    Inquiring minds want to know!!
