It seems the pedal commander is just fooling the ECU into thinking the pedal is in a more advanced position. Comments?

    Work in progress...
Make sure everyone in the truck picks their feet up. That will decrease weight and increase your HP to weight ratio and that, my friend, will give you the increased thrust ratio you are looking for.

If this actually worked, don’t you think toyota engineers (or any manufacture engineer) would have extended the TB housing by a half inch or so?

Throttle body spacers don’t work. The idea worked with carburetors but doesn’t make a difference anymore. Tried on my 1st gen Tacoma.

If you have $100, find a used Shift Sense Pro (SSP) on TW. - basically manually shifts trans in sport mode and has speed thresholds for each gear that make the engine operate in ideal rpm range. Feels peppier. I love mine.

If you have $700, get the Orange Virus Tune. Get HP increase and new shift map.

That's exactly what it does. But it'll change the way your truck drives (well, responds). It'll feel better than the spacer. It also has an eco mode which deadens the gas pedal and allows you to get better milage. Also helps for throttle control Offroad or in icy conditions.
