yep, we're on the same page. with the sharp response the engine shows above 3500rpm i really feel we're missing out on how good it can be. since I'm already around 18mpg or less there is nothing to lose if it's a legit tune.

 

if only we can get a decent tune. and its not even about racing or whatever. its just nice use the engine's full potential when we want to. Now, idk how ecu's work or the technical side of it, but if the same engine is used in a Lexus (which gets more HP and I'm guessing better throttle response) can we just switch it out?

 

if it was simple it would have happened already. all we can do is wait, hope, and keep your expectations in check, because there may never be a tune at all.

 

In other news, I got a response from URD about 3rd gen products:
"Working on stuff every day.

Now shipping Y pipes, and cat-backs.

We have the short shifter that has been out.

We have intakes.

Manifold pipes are wrapping up today and should be listed in a week or two.

Tuning on the way as well as supercharger kit development.
