Throttle concern

This happens with mine randomly as well. Honestly, it's the only real complaint I have with the truck. It's nearly gotten me killed more than once. You back out of a driveway and put it in drive and nothing happens...meanwhile the car coming down the road doesnt slow down and you nearly get hit until the truck decided now is a good time to move...

It's incredibly dangerous... The worst part is that it happens so damn randomly...

I kinda have the same problem I think, but in reverse. I'm going to visit the dealer tomorrow and have them check it out. This is what I experience:

When I put my Taco in reverse, there's a 2.5 second hesitation before it starts rolling back smoothly. It's like there's something holding it from rolling backwards, even when I slightly gas it.

Even worse, I reversed into my inclined driveway and parked it, but decided to reverse it a bit more. When I put it in reverse and let off the brakes, it rolled forward a few feet! It's as if the tranny took it's time to go into the reverse gear. I stomped on the brakes and let off, then it went into reverse, but with the 2.5 second hesitation.

My Taco's still pretty new with 130 miles. Any of you experience these? Is this normal? Thanks in advance.
