Hello all, I am currently having a throttle issue with my 98 tacoma.
She starts to have a lull in throttle when I stop and try to accelerate at say a stop sign or stoplight. Summer is worse. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the mild laxity in my throttle cable. Could it be the throttle position sensor or no? Ideas please. I want to keep my betty running. Only has 117k miles since my dad bought it in 98. He took great care of her until she became mine. Oil changes every 3k, we replace all vacuum lines, the works. Never had any engine issues. Help me if you can. Thank you

on mine the firewall broke where the pedal attached

Made things interesting and no codes

Have you adjusted the cable to remove as much slack as possible
