Little trivial but anyone know the correct procedure to adjust the throttle linkage properly so not too fast idle speed when cold and correct idle rpm when warm? I have a 95 Tacoma 3.4 manual trans. Thanks

The throttle plate should be completely closed. There is an adjustment screw that the linkage hits to absorb the force of the closing throttle. Make sure this screw is set so it gets hit as the throttle is completely closed, otherwise the throttle plate will wear the inside of the throttle body.

The cable should have just a millimeter or two of slack when closed.

The Idle Air Control (IAC) valve controls the cold and hot idle speed.

Download the factory repair manual pdf for the exact procedure and specs for the cable adjustment.
