Hi All, new member, although I've frequented this site a lot. Ran into a unique issue hoping you fine folk can help me out. Any tips/insight would be appreciated.

    Tacoma 2002 3.4L

While replacing the TPS I managed to strip the bottom screw. Then upon extracting the screw, the screw hole broke off from the engine. Top hole is still there, but I assume it isn't wise to use with just the top screw given it would be loose and now there is a hole at the bottom. Added a couple pictures to help with the explanation.

    1) Is it imperative that this is fixed?
    2) If so, would JB Weld high heat epoxy be fine for a task like this to "weld" back on the broke screw hole?

    Appreciate any insight

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Time for a used throttle body.

You can try the epoxy you have nothing to lose if it does not work .You also need to repair the threads .

Paying to repair that would be more expensive then finding a used throttle body.

It would be an interesting challenge
